What the Association is About

We are a non-profit, volontary-based association, whose goal is to promote the works of the artists Georges et Yvonne Préveraud de Sonneville, spanning the years between 1906 and 1960.

The purpose of this site is to give the public access to some of the many works of the artists, and to give an insight into their lives and place in French figurative art of the 20th century.

Georges and Yvonne painted many landscapes and scenes of Bordeaux and its vineyards, as well as of Paris and its suburbs where they live for several years. They also illustrated their family life in a tender and delicate fashion.

They leave behind a vibrant legacy of their life and times.
