The Association Georges de Sonneville-Yvonne Préveraud is ran as a non-profite organisation to pay tribute to the artists Georges and Yvonne Préveraud de Sonneville and their works. Our association is ran by a small dedicated team of descendants and enthusiast of the artists.
Cécile Bordes - Association President
Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Cécile is the grand-daughter of Georges and Yvonne Préveraud de Sonneville through her mother Denise de Sonneville-Bordes. She founded the association in 2012, following the death of her aunt Georgette de Sonneville, the last remaining child of the artists. She since has been working tirelessly to promote their artworks and make it more accessible to the public. Cécile has lived a rich life as an artist herself, living and working across 3 continents.
Lilas Bordes - Content manager
Residing in Paris, Lilas has contributed to the website creation and the uploading of the artworks online.
JACK FORD - CAtalogue and digital manager
Born in Australia, Jack has employed his professionnal skills to photograph the artworks and create this website. Passionate in art, travel, culture and history, he is eager to see the artists' works and biographies available to the English speaking public. Jack has teamed up with Lilas to put the association into the digital age.
